Acer S271HL 27-inch LED Monitor

Acer is back with its latest energy efficient LED monitor. Designed for professionals and gamers, the 27-inch monitor provides a 100M: 1 dynamic contrast ratio, a fast 2ms response time, HDMI and DVI ports with HDCP support. Measuring at just 24mm, the Acer S271HL will be released in the UK in April 2012 for a suggested RRP of £229 ($365) inc. VAT.



The S271HL integrates white LED technology which eliminates hazardous substances such as mercury or halogen gases. Plus, compared to the traditional CCFL displays the S273HL can reduce power consumption by up to 68%. This translates to substantial cost savings, while preserving nature’s energy resources. The LED lamp not only ensures exceptional reliability and great savings but delivers a better performance. In fact, it allows the reproduction of a larger colour range with better saturation: the result is extraordinary realism, unobtainable with standard technologies.
