Toshiba Excite X10 Tablet (C.E.S 2012 Highlights)

Although C.E.S 2012 was thin on the ground this year with New tech this year there where some bright hopes for 2012 and heres the First the Toshiba Excite X10 Tablet showing that Toshiba can still push the envelope in Design and Innovation.

The thinnest and lightest tablet at CES features a Texas Instruments 1.2-GHz OMAP 4430 multicore processor, 1GB of memory, and a 1280-by-800 resolution IPS display. Toshiba has gone the distance and created something that has made me genuinely excited.

At just 7.7mm thick and 535 grams it's ridiculously thin its lighter and thinner than the ipad 2 with a better design with the Buttons seeming to flow into the Tablet..Toshiba top Marks for Design.
Although to be priced slightly $30 higher than Ipad 2 its worth every penny..i wish though it was priced uner Apples pad as it would show Toshiba putting itself right in the front row of the Tablet stakes.

Its processor, the dual-core Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 1.2 GHz, should be able to handle Ice Cream Sandwich admirably.
But the bag of tricks doesn't end there. The X10 has a gyroscope, accelerometer, GPS capabilities, eCompass, ambient light sensors, ten finger multi-touch support, micro USB and micro HDMI ports, and a 2MP front-facing camera.
The Excite X10 comes in two flavors, a $530 16GB version and $600 for the 32GB version. The Toshiba Excite X10 release date is late March and should be Everywhere by Easter.
