Chrome for Android Beta arrives

It has already been four years since Google Chrome first graced our desktops – talk about how fast time flies! Well, the fast browsing experience has certainly captivated plenty of people since its early years, and adoption rates for the browser has soared correspondingly as well. Today, we see the unveiling of Chrome for Android Beta, delivering many of the nuances that made you fall in love with Chrome in the first place. It is a pity that Chrome for Android Beta works only with your Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered phone or tablet. Similar in nature to the desktop cousin, Chrome for Android Beta has its focus on speed and simplicity. Not only that, there is also a seamless sign-in and synchronization process, letting you carry your personalized web browsing experience regardless of where you are, and which device you use. Check out a video of Chrome for Android Beta in action below.
Designed from ground up for mobile devices instead of downsizing the original Chrome, that itself is nice to hear from Google as it means plenty of thought should have gone into the mobile browser. Tabs will fit naturally, regardless of whether you are using a smartphone or a tablet, and with an unlimited number of tabs to play with (although I am quite sure eventually everything will slow down to a crawl if you get too tab-happy), you might want to give Chrome for Android Beta a go as it is now available on the Android Market in select countries and languages.
