The Mass Effect Demo will finally be available for download later today, on the PC,
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, according to BioWare, which has just posted
approximate release times for each of the platforms.
Until then, BioWare, the game’s developer, is set to deploy the demo for the title today, across all three platforms, including PC, via the
Origin digital distribution service, PlayStation 3, via the PlayStation
Network, and Xbox 360, via the Xbox Live service.
After confirming lots of details about the game and its actual demo, which includes a single-player and multiplayer component, the studio
has now posted estimated release times for the demo on each platform.
According to Bioware`s Twitter Account PC owners will get to download the Mass Effect 3 demo at 12PM PST (8PM
GMT), while Xbox 360 owners get it between 12 and 2AM PST (8 and 10AM
GTM). Last but not least, North American PS3 owners receive the demo for
the role playing shooter between 4 and 8PM PST today, February 14,
while those in Europe or Australia get it tomorrow, February 15, between
4 or 8PM GMT.
Don’t forget that, at first, regular players will only be able to
experience the single-player portion of the demo, as they have to wait
until February 17 to try out the co-operative Galaxy at War multiplayer mode.
Let’s hope the demo’s launch will stick to these
estimates and we’ll finally be able to experience Mass Effect 3 in all
its glory.
